This piece was a commission from a friend. They had renovated their home and had removed a large door. They wanted to use it as the source material for a sculpture that they knew would be in their stairwell. I enjoyed doing some light studies of the space to ensure that the resulting piece would be highlighted by the incoming light.
The title is a bit of a pun and is hebrew for “From generation to generation”
